Christine Thompson, the owner of Aveda Spoke and Weal is an amazing person and fashion/editorial colorist and color correction specialist. She is very knowledgeable in gray transition without compromising the health of the hair. They have several locations in New York City and Los Angeles. I highly recommend Christine and all the colorists and stylists that she and her partner have trained.
